I had been on the look out for the perfect berry toned autumnal shade and was hoping to pick up the shade Fuchsia Fusion as this was raved about by beauty vlogger Fleur De Force; it was however sold out – the power of the blogosphere!
I have never tried anything from the Sunset Daylight Curing range from Barry M so chose this gorgeous deep purple colour called Plum On Baby Light Fire.
The consistency of this polish is quite thick. It suggests applying two thin coats before applying the Sunset Daylight Curing Topcoat which was quite tricky with the thick consistency. This polish is fast drying and gives a super glossy finish.
After applying two thin (ish) coats of the Plum On Baby Light My Fire I finished the look with the Sunset Daylight Curing Topcoat. This again has a thick consistency which seals the layers of polish together to achieve a super glossy, hi-shine look comparable to that of a gel polish but without having to set using UV light.
I have been wearing this polish for five days without any chipping so I am super impressed with the longetivity of this range. I look forward to trying more from this range and will be keeping my eyes peeled to try the shade Fuchsia Generation once it’s back in stock.
Have you tried this polish or anything from this range? I love reading and replying to your comments.
