Birchbox – November 2015: The Unveiling

This post is a bit late as I actually received my November Birchbox the day after I moved to my new home. My first delivery no less which I was very excited about.

This months box was a Birchbox collaboration with lifestyle brand Skinny Dip. I have to confess that I have never heard of this brand so am intrigued to give the products a go! The box is a beautiful pale blue colour with a pretty sea shell design; this box will definitely be a keeper.

So what did I receive in my Birchbox this month?

L. Ericsson: Grab & Go Ponytail Holder (£11.50 for set of 15)

I was surprised to see this in my box. Definitely the most expensive hair tie I’ve ever used! I have used it a few times and it does exactly what is expected; holds my ponytail securely in place. The hair tie is made from a lovely soft material which does not pull or snag on the hair which is great. Would I pay £11.50 for 15? Probably not!

Delarom: Crème Acquaconfort

I love trying out new skincare brands and products so this was a welcome addition to my box. This facial moisturiser contains apricot oils and vitamin e to nourish and hydrate the face after cleansing. Looking forward to giving this a go.

Pure & Light Organic: Revitalising Facial Exfoliation

Again another new skincare brand for me. I love a good face scrub so I’m sure I’ll enjoy giving this one a thorough test.

Lord & Berry: Silhouette Neutral Lip Liner

I have received a Lord & Berry lipstick before in a Birchbox and was impressed with the quality so I have reasonably high expectations of this lip liner. This lip liner applies as a clear wax to line the lips ready for any shade of lipstick. This is a great idea in theory so I’m looking forward to putting this to the test in practice.

Living Proof: No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream

I have heard of this brand through the beauty blogging community but have yet to try anything from the Living Proof haircare range. This is also a good size sample to try.

Cowshed: Cow Pat Hand Cream (full size £8)

I always have hand cream close by as I do get very dry hands and nails, especially in the winter. This hand cream by Cowshed contains grapefruit and coriander so has a really zesty and uplifting scent which makes a nice change from my floral based hand creams. Lovely.

All in all another good box from Birchbox.

What did you get in yours this month? What did you think? I love reading and replying to your comments.
