Can’t quite believe that today is Christmas Eve! I hope you are all enjoying the day. I finally have today off of work and I don’t go back until the 4th of January – yay!
Today will be spent relaxing and spending lots of quality time with my wonderful boyfriend. We plan to watch Christmas Films and have some yummy food like Christmas Cheese and Crackers – delicious.
Later on tonight I will give my skin some much needed TLC so I thought today’s post would be a bit different and I would share my Christmas Eve Pamper Routine. I hope you enjoy.
My skin is in great need of some extra care as in the winter months it can look dull and needs lots of intense moisture. These two masks are perfect for an indulgent pick-me-up.
After taking off my make-up and fully cleansing my skin so it is clean and fresh I have been loving using the beautiful *Peeling Cream mask by Monu Professional Skincare. This is a lovely clay based mask which contains aromatic lavender essential oil and beeswax. It has a wonderfully relaxing scent which is quite therapeutic to spread a thin layer on my face.
The clay base of this mask helps to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin. I tend to leave on for around 10 minutes until it is completely dry. Then for the fun bit! This mask is very different to the other clay masks I love; this is where the peeling comes into play! Once the mask is completely dry I hold my face taught and gently buff the mask away with my fingertips – it literally peels away.
I clean away any excess mask with a gentle face wash to reveal beautifully radiant and glowing skin. I love this mask and tend to use it once or twice a week, possibly more over the festive season!
To completely hydrate and nourish my skin I will apply the gorgeous fruity scented Drink-Up Intensive Overnight mask from Origins before I go to bed. If you missed my full review check it out here – Hello Radiant Skin.
What are your pamper plans for Christmas Eve? Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! I love reading and replying to your comments.
