Nailbox – April 2016: The Unveiling

This is a very special month for Nailbox. It’s their first birthday! I have only been subscribed to Nailbox for a few months but I’m already hooked. It’s such great value for money and this month was a real celebration! Four full sized nail polishes, including one nail treatment a glitter polish and some nail art gems. A great box to mark a very special first birthday.

Bourjois – So Lacque! Bleu Asphalte £5.99

I am a massive fan of Bourjois cosmetics but I have yet to try any of their nail polishes. This is a really unusual colour which really appealed to me.

This is a beautiful deep blue grey colour with subtle shimmer shot through. I couldn’t wait to try this on my nails and it dried to a gorgeous glossy finish. Love it.

Invogue – Sugar Daddy £2.99

I had never heard of the brand Invogue until I signed up for Nailbox! Each month seems to contain an Invogue polish and they are actually pretty good for a low cost brand. This is a bold pink colour which will be perfect for the summer. Pink isn’t usually a colour I gravitate towards so it’s always nice to try shades which are slightly out of my colour comfort zone.

Ciaté – London Baby £9.00

Ciaté nail polishes not only look fabulous on my dressing table they are also really good quality, have a high gloss finish and last a long time on the nails.

This is a stunning deep grey polish shot through with irridescent glitter pieces. This can be worn alone or it wonderfully complements the Bourjois nail polish in this box – they are a great pair! A firm favourite.

Elegant Touch – Nail Apothecary – Nail Quencher £7.95

I have received another nail treatment from the Nail Apothecary Elegant Touch brand and they have really impressed & I am sure this one will be no different. It promises to deeply nourish dry and brittle nails and can be used alone or as a base coat. I am sure I will get lots of use out of this. A welcome addition to my nail polish collection.

Elegant Touch – Stylist Pre-Glued Nail Gems £2.95

I am very much a novice when it comes to nail art so I am always pleased to see these type of products in my Nailbox. These are silver and gold nail stickers which are perfect to jazz up my manicure.

What a great celebratory birthday box! I am really happy with this months box. I have some great products to try and I am sure I will be sharing my nail art with you all very soon. The overall cost of this box if you were to buy them individually is £28.88 which is great value for money.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have enjoyed my post. Let me know what you think of this months box – I love reading and replying to your comments.

    • It’s £15 a month which includes the postage. Each month you get 4-5 full size products from a variety of brands including OPI, Nails Inc, Ciaté, Essie and quite often a nail art item too. So far I’ve been really pleased with it. If you sign up for a 12 month subscription it works out £13.50 a month xxx
