June Favourites: Part 2 – Beauty

As promised this is the second installment of my June favourites; this time focussing on the beauty goodies I just couldn’t put down!

If you missed my first June favourites post then check out – June Favourites: Part 1 – Creativity.

My skin has really been playing up again over the past few weeks so this months beauty favourites are heavy on the skincare.

Imperial Leather: Marshmallow Shower Cream

I have been loving the Imperial Leather shower creams as they lather really well into a beautiful, indulgent, rich cream which isn’t stripping on my dry, sensitive skin.

When I saw this Marshmallow new edition I just had to try it out. I took this with me on holiday so this does bring back particularly fond memories of the month of June.

This Marshmallow shower cream has a lovely, sweet, fluffy (almost) scent of, yes you’ve guessed it, pillowy marshmallows. If you have a sweet tooth like me then you will love this shower cream.

Liz Earle: Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask

This treatment mask has been a life saver for my skin. For some reason, possibly because of the wonderfully changeable British summer weather we have been experiencing, my skin has gone into breakdown mode.

One day my skin has been breaking out with painful spots and the next day it’s super sensitive and dry. When my skin has needed a quick pick-me-up I have reached for this saviour.

This is a beautifully rich, creamy mask which is perfect to perk up & soothe stressed, parched and sensitive skin. I slather on a generous layer as part of my morning routine and relax for around 10 minutes and then wash it off. My skin instantly looks calm, fresh and bright. Cannot recommend this enough.

Soap & Glory: Make Yourself Youthful Rejuvenating Eye Cream

Now I’m in my early 30’s I have (to my horror) discovered tiny wrinkles around my delicate eye area, especially under my eyes which encourages my make-up to sit and crease in the pesky crevices!

I have yet to find my holy grail eye cream but this one is getting close. I have been using this day and night for the past few weeks and my eye area has definitely been looking more refreshed, lifted and brighter.

This product has a lovely creamy texture which isn’t greasy and sinks quickly into the skin when tapped in with my ring finger under my eyes. I particularly love using this before applying my make-up as concealer sits nicely over this without creasing – result!

L’Oréal: Glam Bronze Cushion de Soleil

A year ago I would not have believed that bronzer would be one of my most cherished make-up items in my collection. I cannot got enough of this fabulous bronzer!

I love the cushion delivery system of this liquid bronzer. It applies well using a brush or your fingers. This has a buildable colour pay-off which is great as I can be somewhat heavy-handed. This is just perfect for the summer months as the liquid to powder formula is incredibly long lasting. If you haven’t tried this yet you need it in your life!

Thanks for reading and I hope you have enjoyed my June Favourites. Do let me know what you have been loving this month. Have you tried any of the products i’ve mentioned? I love reading and replying to your comments.
